The movie "Avatar 2" is probably one of the most anticipated sequels to come. A lot of fans are curious regarding the development of the movie. Recent reports suggest that "Avatar 2" is currently on the works. The Hollywood elite director James Cameron is even planning for a 3D movie without using 3D Glasses.

Having a 3D movie without using 3D Glasses might be possible for "Avatar 2" because this kind of technology has been already used with Nintendo 3DS games. The technology for 3D cinema has already made a significant progress since James Cameron released the first "Avatar" movie. Fans can expect that it will be already made in "Avatar 2."

"Avatar" is also expected to have four movie sequels. James Cameron is planning to release the "Avatar 2" on December 2018, while the "Avatar 3" in 2020, "Avatar 4" in 2022 and "Avatar 5" on 2023. All movie sequels of "Avatar" are expected to hit the theaters every month of December so that it would be perfect for family viewing at Christmas.

There is no doubt that "Avatar 2" has been long overdue, but James Cameron is planning to release the upcoming "Avatar" sequels as close as possible. The sequels were split into four because James Cameron apparently wrote too much material for "Avatar." But, he also claimed that the producers were okay with it due to its income potential. Of course, the costs of production will also go up as a result.

Jake Sully and Neytiri will be played by the same stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana in "Avatar 2." Moreover, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver might also reprise their roles in the previous movie.
