Full Batman: Arkham Origins Trailer is Here

We had a short peek at 40 seconds of eye candy from Batman: Arkham Origins last week, and now, as promised, the full 4 and a half minute trailer has arrived. Below you'll see how Bats met Deathstroke, and most of their fight before another assasssin so rudely interrupts their battle by attempting to drop a shipping crate on their heads.

We've known about Deathstroke ever since the big reveal a few weeks ago, but I'm more curious about the guy firing off from across the river. The eyepiece is a dead ringer for Floyd Lawton, better known as Deadshot, as is the skill, but he's lacking the usual flashy uniform, substituting a generic baclava instead.

I admit I'd be a bit disappointed if this turns out to be him. I was hopeful that given Batman's extended Rogues gallery, we'd finally be able to see some other noteworthy villains finally make their video game debut.

With the title, Origins takes place before the first two Arkham games. The leading capo of crime in the city, Black Mask, has put a large sum of money on the table for the man who manages to take out Gotham's leading vigilante. The money's up for grabs between 8 major assassins, and some of Gotham's not-so-finest boys in blue.

The combat system is the same one that's been seen in the previous games, thankfully, but it will have "new layers, new opportunities, and new tactics," as well as his usual array of wonderful toys, including some never before seen ones.

This is definitely one game to keep your eyes on.

Batman: Arkham Origins is due on PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 this fall. A next-gen version has yet to be announced
