'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Spoilers, Premiere Date, News: New Enemy Disrupts Kaneki's Peaceful College Life; Touka Has Psychological Effects Due to School Dilemma

“Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3, according to sources is confirmed to be happening and the fans of the anime series could heave a collective sigh of relief. Previously, the series was rumored to be canceled which disappointed a lot of its fans.

According to Animemaru however, the “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 renewal was already announced since last year but this still remains unconfirmed. Reports say that the coming season will be darker than the earlier installments of the animated series. Plus, its chapter 100 is also said to be a battle between Nimura and Kaneki.

There are also reports that indicate that “Tokyo Ghoul 3” is scheduled to premiere this winter of 2016. They also say that Mad House is taking over the production from Studio Pierrot. Fans actually consider this a good development for the the series since Madhouse also handles other hit anime series such as “Once Punch Man” and Death Note.

It cannot be denied however that Studio Pierrot was the studio that made the anime series into a worldwide success. Its current status and popularity assures that “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 will be as big a success as it has always been.

“Tokyo Ghoul” is an adaptation from the well known manga of the same title. It tells the story of Ken Kaneki who lives in a ghouls-filled world. Despite this, he tried to live a normal life in college but he turned out to be a ghoul himself. Now that he is a half ghoul, half human, he has to fight the desire to eat human flesh in order to survive.

According to “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 spoilers, the new season will follow the new character Touka Kirihima’s adventure in college. She is described as aloof and disrespectful to Kaneki. The premiere will feature her dilemma in choosing which university among Kamii University, Duke University or To-Oh University is best for her.

It is still not clear if Touka will have white hair by the end of the “Tokyo Ghoul” first episode of the season but more than likely will according to University Herald. What is known for now is that Touka’s difficulties in choosing the university to go to had some psychological effect on her.

Meanwhile, “Tokyo Ghoul” Chapter 100 will have a one month time jump. It features Kaneki living his peaceful life. He enjoys having coffee and hanging out with his friends Touka, Irmi, Nishio and Mr. Yomo.

Kaneki’s peaceful existence will be short lived in “Tokyo Ghoul” however when he finds an enemy in Nimura who will challenge his authority. Some new alliances will be formed and as previously mentioned, “Tokyo Ghoul” chapter 100 will be about the battle between Kaneki and Nimura.
