The epic prequel TV adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island," "Black Sails," will soon reveal its final bow that will surely surprise everyone with its major twist and turn of events. With that, stars of the final "Black Sails" Season 4 are continuously giving hint and tease what in store of the show's last stretch.
In an interview with IGN, Hannah New, who plays the role of Eleanor Guthrie, talked about what fans could expect in "Black Sails" Season 4. In the aftermath of Long John Silver's (Luke Arnold) "new legend," the role of the "Maleficent" star perfectly knows that it won't be an easy fight for her in the coming last installment of the show.
Eleanor Guthrie admitted that there would be a lot to lose for Eleanor in the start of "Black Sails" Season 4. Evidently, the life of the daughter of Richard Guthrie (Sean Cameron Michael) is in grave danger as she is now "on a lot of people's hit list."
Hence, fans can expect "a bit of full-scale war" in the coming "Black Sails" Season 4. In spite of a lot of violence happening in the New Providence Island, Eleanor managed to keep the place at peace but it looks like everything is about to change now.
"The level of violence is escalated and she at this point has to be very clever and very precise in her movements and actions in order to escape this," Hannah New said about her character. Aside from the heavy battle, viewers will also witness emotional sequences in "Black Sails" Season 4.
"The violence and the battles and struggles become bigger and bigger ... the questions the characters are asking themselves are even more kind of existential," Hannah New added. "The Time in Between" actress also teased that audience will see a lot of developments in their every favorite "Black Sailes" Season 4 character that they've never seen before.
Meanwhile, the official Facebook page of "Black Sails" gave a glimpse of "Black Sails" Season 4 behind-the-scene videos. Toby Schmitz, who plays the role of Rackham, revealed that fans will be treated right away with a heavy action sequence in the first scene of the show's premiere episode.
In fact, the TV series' co-executive Producer Jonathan E. Steinberg teased that the group managed to "massively expanded" their underwater stunts. Are you now excited? "Black Sails" Season 4 will air on January 29 on Starz.
