"Sons of Anarchy" Spin-off is finally confirmed to be in the works as Emilio Rivera announced his involvement in the upcoming "Mayans MC." The "Act of Valor" star revealed that he is going to reprise his role as the leader of the Mayans group.
On his Instagram page, Emilio Rivera unveiled a snap of the coming spinoff and answered all the fans question that there is a coming "Sons of Anarchy" Spin-off. "#Rollout Mayan Monday gonna be a Crazy Ride, with @sutterink@elginnjames and the #MayansMc" the 55-year-old actor wrote the caption.
Evidently, Emilio Rivera also proved that the coming "Sons of Anarchy" Spin-off will be created by Kurt Sutter and directed by Elgin James. Maxim reported that James himself is an ex-member of the Boston-based group, Friends Stand United (FSU), so he can give a definite account of what's happening in the world of these gangs.

It has been long rumored that a "Sons of Anarchy" Spin-off is coming since the original Charlie Hunnam TV series ended in 2014. However, it is not yet revealed who among the main cast will also reprise their roles.
Moreover, Cleveland cited that Kurt Sutter himself first confirmed the coming "Sons of Anarchy" Spin-off back in May. "The Bastard Executioner" screenwriter said that "Mayans MC" will mainly feature The Mayans motorcycle club, thus it is no surprise that Emilio Rivera will be seen again as Marcus Alvarez - the president of The Mayans North California chapter.
It is strongly believed that the coming "Sons of Anarchy" Spin-off will continue the tale of "SOA" right after it ended. Hence, "Mayans MC" might not be a prequel. Here, viewers may, too, witness the return of some fan-favorite SAMCRO as it has been known that The Mayans often have a brawl with the said group.
However, in the season finale of "Sons of Anarchy" Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) and Marcus Alvarez had an agreement to form a partnership between their two groups. From here, the "Sons of Anarchy" Spin-off is born. Will Charlie Hunnam make an appearance? Kate Sutter has yet to announce the airing of "Mayans MC."
