"Duck Dynasty" Season 11 will be the final bow of the favorite American reality television series on A&E. The Robertson family announced the sad news in a special short video message after the show's Wednesday episode.
The Robertson family revealed that "Duck Dynasty" Season 11 will completely end in April 2017, USA Today reported. "After five years, 130 episodes and one of the biggest hits in the history of cable, the Robertson family and A&E jointly decided that 'Duck Dynasty,' the series, will come to an end after this season," the announcement said.
"Ducky Dynasty" Season 11's new episodes will continue to run until Jan. 18 and will resume on March 1. After revealing seven episodes, it will come to an end on April 12. However, A&E revealed that fans will still witness "Duck Dynasty" holiday specials at times.

Of course, the Robertson family addressed the end of "Duck Dynasty" Season 11 on their social media pages. Willie Robertson sent his gratefulness to everyone that supported him for the past five years. Also, he promised that the last season will definitely be great.
Jase Robertson, on the other hand, assured everyone that they will be back and it will not all end in "Duck Dynasty" Season 11. "Yes, this is the last season of Duck Dynasty. But, it is a REALLY long season, and we may do an occasional special in the future. Love yall." he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Variety noted that "Duck Dynasty" first aired in March 2012. It was quickly accepted by the many and became a "pop culture phenomenon." In fact, it is one of the most-watched television series in the cable TV history.
That can't be denied as the show now reached its current "Duck Dynasty" Season 11. In 2013, a lot believed that "Duck Dynasty" will be canceled because of Phil Robertson's anti-gay claims and statement about the African-Americans.
His interview with GQ magazine got controversial and resulted in a suspension of the show. However, A&E decided to continue the program and now "Duck Dynasty" Season 11 is about to meet its ending.
