‘Captain America: Civil War’ News & Update: Behind-The-Scenes Concept Art & Influence On A Television Series

“Captain America: Civil War” was premiered in 2016 and is the thirteenth film of the fictional universe Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The movie features Captain America (Chris Evans), who refused to sign the Sokovia Accords presented to the Avengers by the United Nations (UN) which will enable the government to exert control over the team. However, Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) was of a different opinion, thus, dividing the Avengers.

According to Screen Crush Fans of Spider-man (Tom Holland) was pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of the Spider-Signal at the end of the “Captain America: Civil War”. This unprecedented addition in a live-action movie is logical given how the story progressed with Tony Stark taking Spider-man under his wing. The team at Perception Studio behind the design has released their first concept graphics for the Spider-Signal and this will no doubt be featured in the next “Captain America” movie sequel.

One of the most well-received character in “Captain America: Civil War” was Ant-man (Paul Rudd) who has proven that bigger is not always better, Comicbook reports. One of the fan-favorite scenes was when Ant-man wreaked havoc inside the seemingly impenetrable armor of Iron Man. Much to the delight of this pint-size superhero’s fans, senior illustrator at Marvel Studios, Jackson Sze, shared some concept art of this scene on his Instagram.

The story that unfolded in “Captain America: Civil War” played a role in influencing the progress of the popular superhero television series “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”. The new director of SHIELD replacing Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) was revealed to be Jeffrey Mace (Jason O'Mara) who claimed to be involved with saving lives at the bombing in Vienna, an event that was featured in “Captain America: Civil War”. Another reason that Coulson nominated Mace was because Captain America went rogue in the movie, going against the United Nations.
