‘Final Fantasy XV’ Latest News & Update: Square Enix Posts Extended Version Of Game’s 101 Trailer! More Gameplay Details Revealed
Square Enix posted on Monday an extended version of “Final Fantasy XV" 101 trailer. The video offered an overview of the entire game, including story, character, setting and combat mechanics. But the studio excluded major story spoilers.
“Final Fantasy XV” has suffered from multiple delays and years of development, but on Nov. 29, it would finally be on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In a bid to contain spoilers, Hajime Tabata, game director of Square Enix, not only asked gamers who received an advanced copy to not release spoilers, but he also plans to initiate action to prevent the online leak of unauthorized videos with spoilers.
Patch In December
The game will get a patch in December which would add new graphics and frame rate options on PS4. Ahead of Nov. 29, Square Enix released some new artwork for “Final Fantasy XV.”
Gematsu reported that there would be a “Final Fantasy XV” collaboration with “NieR: Automata” through an “Engine Blade” one-handed sword for YoRHa No. 2 Type B. The sword in a symbol of Noctis, a protagonist of “Final Fantasy XV.”
Although the Engine Blade is a direct import from “Final Fantasy XV,” it would have its own exclusive evasion effect. The damage amount and way of the effects are the same. However, details of the NieR: Automata” collaboration would be revealed at a later date.
“NieR: Automata” Launch Dates
The launch for PS 4 of “NieR: Automata” in Japan is on Feb. 23, 2016, while for PS4 and PC in Europe and North America, it would be in early 2017. Conan O’Brien, comedian and TV host, was seen playing “Final Fantasy XV” with Elijah Woods, actor of “Lord of the Rings.” In his newest Clueless Gamer segment, Conan O’Brien described the game as “like an epic, blue balls waste of time.” Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Final Fantasy XV" news and updates!
