'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8 Latest Spoilers, News & Update: Will Tyler Come Back? What We Know So Far!

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is the final season for the series. It has been speculated that Nina Dobrev is to return in this final season.

According to a report in Mobile & Apps, Dobrev is speculated to return as Katherine in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. In fact series creator Julie Plec already has hinted that she wants Dobrev to come back before the series ends.

Dobrev has been the center of the series in most of the seasons. If she does return as Katherine in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, it will actually help in the ratings for the show. The hint for Dobrev to return is also manifested in the fourth episode when Georgie's (Allison Scagliotti) soul gets stuck in what seems to be like Katherine's shadows.

In a report from Jobs & Hire, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is more about killing characters. The ones that may be left in the show are those living in the Mystic Falls and Enzo (Michael Malarkey). There are newcomers to the show that may meet their end right away in this season finale.

However, there are also speculations that Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) is coming back in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. It can be recalled that Tyler was found dead in a car trunk. It seems that it was not the last time for the character for this series.

It already has been reported by GameNGuide that Damon (Ian Somerhalder) has become Sybil's (Nathalie Lelley) slave in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. He was even the one who killed Tyler upon Sybil's command.

Sybil has also admitted for her to have a sister. This story is going to be connected with the plot in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Meanwhile, the Salvatore brothers are going to face challenges in this final season.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is on air every Fridays at 8p.m.
