Anna Faris Latest News & Updates: 'Housebunny' Star Banned From Adopting Dogs; Chris Pratt's Wife Irresponsible Pet Owner?

The "Housebunny" star, Anna Faris is banned from adopting a dog from a NorthHollywoodd shelter after her own dog, a Chihuahua, was spotted alone and in weak health. TMZ says that the Chihuahua named Pete was found wandering the Los Angeles Streets looking unhealthy and was then given to a vet within the area. When the vet ran the chip that was on the Chihuahua, Anna Faris's name came up.

She adopted Pete four years ago from Kinder4Rescue. Laurel Kinder owner of Kinder4Rescue shares to TMZ that Anna Faris signed a contract stating that she would pay a $5,000 fine if she decides to hand it to a new owner. This was so they could track the whereabouts of Pete the Chihuahua. The unhealthy state of Pete is a breach to this signed adoption agreement and makes Anna liable of paying the $5,000 fine.

When Anna Faris' name turned up after running the chip on Pete, she was immediately put on the do-not-adopt list. It's a sad thing for dog lovers across the world to hear of this alleged negligence. We will leave it to you to decide which is worse: being banned for adoption or paying a four figure fine, either way, Anna can still manage to get out of this mess. Anna Faris has to prove she has been actively looking for Pete the Chihuahua.

Anna Faris and husband 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor, Chris Pratt are known to be animal lovers. TMZ's sources report that the pair is aware that Pete is found and are making arrangements to bring him back home. We will be expecting a lot of criticism from the entire animal loving community but the sympathy and well wishes go to Pete the Chihuahua. Cheers to health and a loving home!
