Google Pixel Account Ban: Selling Pixel Will Mean Loss of Google Account? Read Before You Sign The Agreement

If a person sells a Google Pixel phone, he might lose his Google account along with photos and other online services. Yes, you heard that right.

Google indicated that whoever sells the new version of the smartphone will have to suffer difficulties, as far as using the brand's services is concerned. Normally, when people sign a contract and agree to the terms and conditions of a particular company, they do not take those clauses seriously. But, Google Pixel is different, according to Yahoo News.

The sellers might not have gone through the terms of the agreement properly but the internet giant is following all the rules. The reports have revealed that several people have purchased Google Pixel phones from Google's wireless service Project Fi.

Google Pixel Clause Stipulates Dire Consequences For Erring Users

The purchasers then log in to a New Hampshire reseller that do not charge any sales tax and allow users to grab more profits. Those who have applied the technique for gain must be ready for severe consequences. Google Pixel terms and conditions contains a clause that prohibits purchasers from reselling the device. According to the terms, reselling the device for "commercial" purposes will cost a person not only his email account but also his photos and other online services.

Google Pixel Violation: A Digital Death Sentence

The company identified the breach after it observed the online purchases made by customers where they found that they violated the terms of Google Pixel. "There isn't an hour that doesn't go by that I don't think about the enormity of what Google has done to me," New York Brooklyn's Shmuel Super said as quoted by News18. "This is like a digital death sentence."

Referring to the Google Pixel matter, the Internet giant released a statement and described the resale of the device as a strategy for those who want to grab more profits in lesser times, thereby breaching the company policies. Google, however, has not yet claimed the number of people been affected by the account ban.
