'Game of Thrones' Latest,News & Update: A Line Of Wines Inspired By The HBO Fantasy Series Is Coming Soon

HBO Global Licensing in partnership with Vintage Wine Estates has signed up to produce a line of "Game of Thrones" inspired wine. Wine has been one of the common things seen in the fantasy series which is mostly in the hands of the siblings Cersei Lannister and Tyrion Lannister.

"Given the prominent role of wine on 'Game of Thrones' and our previous success in the beverage category, an officially licensed wine for the show feels like a natural extension for our fans," announced Jeff Peters, director of licensing and retain in HBO said in a report by CNET. "'Game of Thrones' wines most definitely will add to the fan experience as the battle for the Iron Throne heats up heading into the final seasons," he continued in a statement.

The California based, Vintage Wine Estates will be releasing three distinct kinds of "Game of Thrones" wines. According to the Nerdist, the wine is a chardonnay with a proprietary red blend and a "reserve-style" Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Game of Throne wine's label in the bottles is inspired by the designs from the opening sequence in the astrolabe. Each "Game of Thrones" bottle will cost you around $20 - $40 USD, £16-32 for British pounds and $27-54 Australian dollars.

This is not the first time that a drink was inspires by the HBO hit series. A beer was also inspired by "Game of Thrones" series that is called Valar Doharis Tripel Ale in a 750ml single bottle which was on sale last October 2016.

This is another way for fans to enjoy the last two season of Game of Thrones. "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be aired on HBO with seven episodes in mid-2017. Stay tune here on GameNGuide for more updates on the "Game of Thrones".
