The next episode of “Scorpion” Season 3 is said to feature Paige’s (Katharine McPhee) relationship with her mother Veronica (Lea Thompson) whom she hasn’t seen for the last 10 years. Veronica was in prison for being a con artist. Emotional moments between mother and daughter are to be expected in the episode.
Paige has been telling everyone in the previous episode of “Scorpion” Season 3 that her mother cannot be trusted which was proven at how much she lied in the episode reports TV Fanatic. At the end of the episode, Veronica was seen apologizing to her daughter for being a terrible mother. She also praised Paige for not turning out to be like her.
In an interview last month with Entertainment Weekly, McPhee described Paige and Veronica’s relationship as volatile. The actress added that her character will be irritated at the team for wanting to get involved in the relationship. In the next episode of “Scorpion” Season 3, Veronica will be courting another confrontation with her daughter when she sort of helps Ralph (Riley B. Smith) boost his troop cookie sales without Paige’s knowledge.
In the same episode of “Scorpion” Season 3, Walter (Elyes Gabel) has to swim through the deadly La Brea Tar Pits when Team Scorpion helps a woman trapped in the tar. Walter needs to get her out of it before oxygen runs out of her system in the episode aptly titled “This is the Pits”.
Meanwhile, future episodes of “Scorpion” Season 3 will also feature Paige and Tim’s (Scott Porter) blooming romance. Walter will not like the way things are going for them because he also has feelings for Paige. As a result, the two men will also have a lot of conflicts as the season progresses.
“Scorpion” Season 3 episode 10 will unfortunately not air this Monday, November 28. CBS will be airing a rerun of the episode titled “The Old College Try” where the Scorpion Team will be tracking a hacker who wants to overthrow the entire world economy. Episode 10 will definitely be aired on December 12 on CBS.
