Tom Thibodeau, 58, was an assistant coach to Doc Rivers at the Boston Celtics during the "Big Three" era of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett where they won an NBA title back in 2008. He was the head coach of the Chicago Bulls for six seasons and in each of those six seasons, the Chicago Bulls had a winning record including 62 wins in 2011 where he was named the NBA Coach of the Year. The next season Tom Thibodeau became the fastest coach to reach 100 wins in the history of the NBA. The last time he had a losing record was when he was an assistant coach of the Houston Rockets. That was 10 years ago.
Tom Thibodeau's record so far this season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, 4-10. They have lost their last three games are currently second to the last in the Western Conference standings If this trend continues for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Tom Thibodeau will have a losing season for the first time in a decade.

According to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report, Tom Thibodeau is growing impatient and that he is willing to trade away one of his young stars for a veteran player "he knows and trusts". League sources say that a few more losses for the Minnesota Timberwolves would trigger Tom Thibodeau to make a deal.
Ric Bucher also added, "Where Thibs looks is not certain, nor is who he'd be willing to move. But those in the league who know his hunger to win and win now are convinced he will begin calling around soon, if he hasn't already."
With 10 straight years of winning, you can't blame Tom Thibodeau for growing impatient. Tom Thibodeau is a competitor. He likes to win and he wants to win now.
