‘Xbox One Backwards Compatibility’ Update: See What You Missed During the Black Friday Madness
The recent Black Friday chaos brought so much gaming deals; fans can't help but take advantage of it. But did you know, the Xbox One backwards compatibility list was also update during this time? In a recent announcement by Larry Hryb on its official twitter page, the titles "Burnout Paradise," "Pure" and "Rayman Legends" arrived on the feature.
"Pure" on the other hand is also available on disc unlike the rest of the titles. The three additions according to Gamespot made the Xbox One backwards compatibility list reached 291 in total. Just few days ago, Microsoft confirmed their Games with Gold this December and they include "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition," available starting Dec. 1-30. Others include "Outlast," which will be available starting December 15 to January 15, 2017. "Outland" will be available starting December 1-15 on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One console. Lastly, there's the "Burnout Paradise" that will arrive on December 16-31 on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One platform.
This November, take note that Microsoft released several Xbox One backwards compatibility titles consistently. If you have been updated with the latest releases, it might surprise that eventually, "Skate 3' was included on the BC feature. Along with the title are two Mass Effect titles mainly "Mass Effect 2" and "Mass Effect 3."
Meanwhile, some of the most notable titles that arrived on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list include "Red Dead Redemption," Call of Duty 2," "RAGE," "Killer is Dead" and "Shred Nebula."
If you previously owned these titles on the Xbox 360, there's no need to purchase and download them again. Otherwise, you need to manually download the game from the Xbox One store in order to play it view the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature.
