"Sherlock" season 4 will reportedly deliver a darker theme, per Independent UK. Spoilers suggest that Moriarty will return to become the ultimate villain of Sherlock. More so, fans will see a new villain in the face of Culverton Smith played by Toby Jones.
Steven Moffatt, executive producer for "Sherlock" season 4 said that Moriarty will be the darkest villain the series will have. He also added that Moriarty possesses something fascinating and sinister about him, a character to behold.
