In "The Last Guardian", players will portray the young boy and the first mission in the game is to free the giant bird-cat like creature named Trico from its chains. Once Trico is free, the player will have to combine wit and skills along with Trico's size to overcome puzzles and push forward through the game.

"The Last Guardian" was first announced in the E3 2006 and was supposed to come in the PlayStation 3 at the time. However, with the game developer's countless delays and disappearances, it was forgotten in time and at one point, gamers just gave up on a possible release.

However, against all odds, Sony then brought "The Last Guardian" to life as the game was announced back in the E3 2015 and that the game title will be launched on the PlayStation 4. "The Last Guardian" was directed by Fumito Ueda, who previously worked on "Ico" and "Shadow of the Colossus."

"The Last Guardian" will be available on December 6 for the PlayStation 4. For more "The Last Guardian" news and updates stay tuned to Gamenguide!
