'Hitman' Latest Game Update: Patch 1.7.0 Released; Weapons Accessible On Offline Mode, Silent assassin Rating, And More

"Hitman" recently concluded its sixth episode titled "Hokkaido," in a Japan set season finale. IO Interactive continues to pursue improving the game. Lately, the developer announced the release of the 1.7.0 patch, which will be incorporated into the physical launch on January 31, 2017.

The latest "Hitman" 1.7.0 patch enhances a host of quality of life and death developments to the murder sandbox. There is also the ability to use players' accumulated weapons and equipment offline. There are also tons of fixes and tweaks, particularly for the game as a whole and some for specific missions. There are even specifics for gamers who opt to play on PC.

For offline profiles, the "Hitman" 1.7.0 patch will enable players' offline profile to save all unlockable items that are earned when connected to the game's servers. These items include all mastery items, such as gears, weapons, starting and pickup locations. The patch also includes the Elusive Target suit rewards and unlocks the Challenge Pack. The player, however, must be connected to the game servers, reported PCGames.

The "Hitman" 1.7.0 patch also fixed diverse issues across all locations that formerly resulted in the game crashing or becoming unstable. The patch will incorporate the Opportunity Completion Checkmark to mark opportunities successfully completed. In addition, there will be Silent Assassin Rating Display and sound effects that play when unlocking a challenge.

The ability of Agent 47 to yank enemies into the balcony was removed. IO Interactive said this ability will not be included in the December update, but will soon be re-introduced with a game update in January.

The "Hitman" 1.7.0 patch also fixed PC-specific issues, like not equipping an item during the planning phase. Another is the issue in Marrakesh where heavy flickering in areas with artificial lighting occurs on some specific set-ups. The patch also fixed an issue on some tabs in the replanning screen that could not be selected with a mouse. In addition, issues with cinematics between missions were also addressed.
