‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: First Glimpse Of Sequel At PlayStation Experience 2016?

Rockstar Games is expectedly busy working on a lot of their intellectual properties, including the highly-awaited “Red Dead Redemption 2”. Following its announcement last month, most are eager to see just how far game developers have gone.

In a previous post, it was asked whether the western game setting could still fit in with the modern times. There have been a lot of new games out in the open, each leaning more on futuristic styles. Given that, would “Red Dead Redemption 2” still be a hit? Most believe so though expect some tweaks to perk up game play.

Aside from that, most are curious on what to expect. Considering the announcement of “Red Dead Redemption 2” is still a bit fresh, could there be something more than the trailer coming out in recent weeks?

Sony will be holding its PlayStation Experience 2016 event where big game titles are expected to be in attendance. That includes “Destiny 2” and “Marvel vs. Capcom 4”. How about “Red Dead Redemption 2”?

There is a big possibility that “Red Dead Redemption 2” gamers will get more updates following Sony’s claim that PS4 owners will get first crack for the sequel’s selected content in online mode. Seeing how both Sony and Rockstar Games have been working well together, this hardly comes as a surprise.

The PlayStation Experience 2016 happens this Saturday (Dec. 3), where three hour-long developer panels will take place. There is no word yet on which developers will take the stage though there is a big possibility that Rockstar Games could be one of them.

It may be a long shot considering the “Red Dead Redemption 2” announcement happened just recently. Then again, it won’t hurt to hope for the best and get more updates on the beloved western game set to come out next year.
