'Samsung Galaxy S8' Will Change How People Take Selfies

"Samsung" has now put up a new strategy to draw its consumers close again with the new Galaxy S8 and its amazing features especially the “selfie” camera. Samsung has now come up with an auto-focus “selfie” camera which would make this smartphone the first of it kind.

According to Fox News, "Samsung" is adding auto focus to its “selfie” camera due to the fact that there is more use of the selfie camera these days. The “selfie” camera would spot an “AF actuator” that would detect how close or far the subject it’s trying to capture is and would adjust the focus accordingly.

This means that the selfie camera would be sharp. There would probably be an increase in its megapixels not giving a regard of how close or far or how much the object are in the shots. The "Samsung Galaxy S8" has been rumored to have some new features.

According to ETnews, the reason why "Samsung" is using the AF actuator for it's "Samsung Galaxy 8" is because it has full advantage of making smartphones slimmer so selfie camera need to look sleek in order give it an elegant design. "Samsung" has mostly been using fixed focus kind of selfie camera because it was the camera modules smaller and cheaper in taking pictures. But now, the expectations of its consumers are high and they had to make some slight changes in order for the product to be more attractive to buyers that is why the AF actuator for the selfie camera was introduced.

"Samsung Galaxy S8" was expected to be announced during Mobile World Congress in February, but reports says it has decided to wait till April to unveil the "Samsung Galaxy S8" because it need to double check its quality and make sure the "Samsung Galaxy S8" has all features in place to avoid another setback like the Galaxy S7.
