'Mariah's World' Release Date, Spoilers, News & Update : Mariah Carey's Docu-Series' First Episode Hires New Tour Assistant; More Details Here!

While Mariah Carey is ultimately known for her earth-shattering high notes and groundbreaking awards globally, the massive megastar's perennially funny quirks and sometimes ludicrous persona are still not that out in the world. This very motivation has gradually led to the culmination of "Mariah's World," an eight-part "docu-series" which will air on the E! cable network days from now.

And in "Mariah's World," Mariah Carey is inarguably the Herculean star. From her champagne-splashed universe to its fluorescent-free demands and gown-in-the-park shockers, Carey is never to be outshined in terms of her antics and shenanigans — after all, she is the ultimate diva, as the media has infamously dubbed. But in the show's first episode, it appears that Carey is not the only one who is toting the reputation.

The new assistant named Molly

Days before its official premiere date, News.com.au was lucky enough to watch "Mariah's World's" first episode. In it, it introduced the lowly Molly, who as the publication learned, is Mariah Carey's new tour assistant. Molly, it appears, is not the regular assistant out there. She is tasked to trail Carey as she prepares for her European tour. And with only two weeks before the actual gig, the pressure is rivetingly high for Molly.

Molly is also clearly determined to get the post as she glaringly lied in front of Mariah Carey's manager, Stella Bulochnikov. Bulochnikov has told Molly that there were only two things that are required for the job: No dating during the first year and no sobbing in her office. To be fair, though, Molly did not need to date someone as she was revealed to already have a boyfriend in the episode — "Mariah's World's" becoming infinitely interesting now.

The Apple TV drama

The lying may be enough for her to be sent into the oblivion of the unemployed but Molly didn't stop there. No, as the first episode of 'Mariah's World" progresses, the viewers have learned that she has also broken the second commandment of not crying. She cried like there is no tomorrow because of the intricateness of setting up an Apple TV.

After learning that Maria, Mariah Carey's full-time housekeeper, doesn't know how to assemble the streaming service, Molly has enlisted the help of three hotel staff members who shockingly did not have any idea as well on how to do the Apple TV. This resulted to Molly bursting into fits of crying in desperation. 'Mariah's World's" very first entry has concluded with Maria disregarding the rather overwhelming situation with a nonchalant question, "You want something to eat?"

"Mariah's World" is slated to premiere on E! on Monday, Dec. 5 at 1PM with encore special at 9:30PM. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more updates!
