Ever since "Breaking Bad" lead star Bryan Cranston revealed that he visited the set of "Better Call Saul" Season 3, the rumors swirled that he would be a part of it. However, he might not be seen on screen but at the back of the camera as the show's director.
In an interview with Digital Trends, Vince Gillian and Peter Gould were asked if Bryan Cranston would be directing an episode of "Better Call Saul" Season 3. He might be responsible for the episode where Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) was still working as a manager at Cinnabon.
Gilligan revealed that it would be great to have Bryan Cranston direct an episode of "Better Call Saul" Season 3, as the 60-year-old actor also loved to direct one. When the "Power Rangers" star visited the set, it was his first time to be in Albuquerque once again after three and a half years since "Breaking Bad" ended.
Moreover, the two showrunners were also asked how they will describe the coming "Better Call Saul" Season 3. "Two words: the reckoning," Gould said. "Wow. My word is not as cool a word as reckoning, but my word is: Satisfying," Gilligan added.
Meanwhile, Gould and Gilligan revealed that they made "Better Call Saul" as they saw a lot of potential to the character of Saul Goodman. With that, fans can expect to see a lot of transformation in the role of Bob Odenkirk in the coming "Better Call Saul" Season 3.
They, too, were asked if Gus Fring will indeed come in "Better Call Saul" Season 3 like what every rumor says. "Well, that would be cool, and if we can get there someday, then so be it." But as of right now, it would be inorganic to do that," Gilligan said.
Gould, on the other hand, believed that it would be better if they include the character of Hector Salamanca first in "Better Call Saul" Season 3 before anyone else. "Better Call Saul" Season 3 is expected to be released in February 2017 on AMC.
