Fans are now excited for the return of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 as little details about the show are now emerging. In fact, the "Breaking Bad" spinoff creators, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, talked their take in the upcoming installment in a new interview.
Bob Odenkirk, who plays the lead role Saul Goodman in "Better Call Saul" Season 3, described Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould's take in the show as doing "something good that has an integrity and honesty into it." Gilligan said that they are trying something different with the TV series while Gould took it as an interesting challenge.
Peter Gould explained that there are a lot of supporting characters in "Breaking Bad" and believed that they could say so much more about Saul Goodman. In the coming "Better Call Saul" Season 3, the creators were asked if fans would see Gus Fring or the Los Pollos Hermanos but asserted that it would come when they feel that they have to.
"Well, that would be cool, and if we can get there someday, then so be it." But as of right now, it would be inorganic to do that," Vince Gilligan told Digital Trends. Peter Gould then recalled the coming of Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz) in "Better Call Saul" Season 1 and 2.
Gould thinks that it may be more appropriate to bring Mark Margolis as Hector Salamanca in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. Will he be seen in the next installment?
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that new photos from the set of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 are now emerging online. Bob Odenkirk was seen sitting on a bench wearing his outfit as a Cinnabon manager, thus a lot assumed that the backstory of his early days as Gene would be explored.
"We're fascinated by that black-and-white world that Jimmy/Saul moves into when he becomes Gene the Cinnabon manager," Peter Gould told Digital Spy. Will this be what will ignite his transformation to become Saul Goodman? Find out in the return of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 in February 2017 on AMC.
