Telltale Game's just released their latest heartfelt trailer for the "Walking Dead : A New Frontier" at The Game Awards 2016 in Los Angeles. The third season is entitled "The Ties That Bind" which featured Clementine who has grown in a few years together with a new character named Javier.
"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" time jumped four years after the zombie plague began and the episode gives players a peek at the time of the outbreak. The game is inspired by Robert Kirman's zombie comic book series and not the current AMC TV show "The Walking Dead".
"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" was up for release on November but the first episode was moved to December 2016. The Verge reported that Javier will be played as the second playable protagonist alongside Clementine who was in the first two seasons.
Telltale describes Javier's character as a "young man" who is determined to locate his family that was taken away from him during the outbreak in "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier". Clementine is described as a "young girl" by the publisher that has encountered a great loss that will meet Javier in the game will work together in conquering the current situation.
Keven Burner the CEO and co-founder of the studio, Telltale confirmed at the Game Awards 2016 that "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" will release two out of five episodes of season 3 on December 20 according to Polygon. The game will be released on Android, iOS, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One
In a report by Fansided, "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" will be available in a Season Pass Disc for the episode on for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.PlayStation digital pre-orders will obtain a free access to "The Walking Dead: Season Two" and "The Walking Dead: Michonne".
