‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 2’ News & Update: What’s In The New Explosive Teaser!

It's been more than two years since "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" got the viewers hooked on Marvel's gang of wily space-explorers and the first full trailer for 2017's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is any indication that you can expect more Gamora action, adventure, and interstellar wise-assery the second time around.

The gang is back together in the first teaser trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," which opens in theaters this coming May 2017. "With Guardians of the Galaxy 2, fans really go through every single little shot and try to figure out what the movie is all about. And there are a lot of mysteries in Guardians 2. We were talking about how much to give away - and we're not going to give away very much, as stated by James Gunn, the Director of the movie.

The trailer features all of your laser-brained heroes; including Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, and Dave Bautista as Drax-as well as some toothy monsters, a dogged dogfight, and of course, Baby Groot, who adorably almost blows everyone up for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."

"There are two types of beings in the universe: Those who dance, and those who do not." You just need to find a woman who is pathetic. Like you," as stated by Drax the Destroyer, telling Peter Quill in the teaser.

Like the film's first teaser, the trailer doesn't dig into the sequel's plot, instead opting to spotlight the Guardians' hijinks and banter, including a long scene where "Rocket Raccoon" attempts to teach "Baby Groot" when to properly detonate a nuclear device.

The teaser concludes with a shot of the Bradley Cooper-voiced Rocky Raccoon and the minuscule Groot. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will hit theaters May 5th. In addition to the trailer, the upcoming Marvel blockbuster also shared their latest poster.
