Akuma is set to destroy in "Street Fighter 5." Capcom announced during the PlayStation Experience 2016 that the famous "Tekken 7" guest character will finally be released on December 20.

According to IGN, Akuma's arrival into the "Street Fighter 5" universe is part of the character pack that features 6 new characters. The said character pack is the second in the game that adds downloadable fighters.

Akuma is originally from the "Street Fighter" franchise but he later on appeared in "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." He is known as one of the most powerful fighters in the franchise, and one of the most popular as well. In fact, in "Tekken 7," he was the only character given the ability to cancel a special move, as well as the EX/Super gauge and Focus Attack move.

Meanwhile, the Capcom Unity blog has unveiled the details on Akuma's moveset for "Street Fighter 5." With the V-Trigger: Dohatsu Shoten, Akuma will be enveloped with ki so he can enter the Dohatsu Shoten mode. He will then have the ability to unleash two Gohadokens that are more powerful when the V-Trigger is activated.

In "Street Fighter 5," Akuma is also given the Critical Art: Sekia Koretsuha move. When this mode is activated, he will be able to drive massive amounts of ki into his palm. Once his palm hits the ground, the enemy will receive a pillar of energy that could be brutal enough to be a finishing move.

Akuma, dubbed as the "Master of the Fist," will also feature a Critical Art: Shun Goku Satsu move and a V-Skill: Rakan mode. All the mentioned Akuma modes are available for players to explore in "Street Fighter 5." In the second character pass that includes Akuma, battle costumes are already included. Each of the costumes come with eight different colors, plus 3-10 default costume colors for every fighter.

The new character pass for "Street Fighter 5" costs $29.99. Fans are encouraged to wait for further announcements before the DLC pack arrives December 20.
