'GoPro Karma Grip' Latest News & Update: Stabalizer Grip Now Available For $299; Compatible For Hero 5
GoPro just released its latest accessory, the GoPro Karma Grip. This despite the Karma Drone being recalled last Nov. 8 after reported incidents of unstable electrical power while the drone is still functioning during its performance, causing the Drone to fall from the sky. The GoPro Karma Grip is now available which can give users maximum video stabilization than the usual nauseating and shaky GoPro videos.
The GoPro Karma Grip is selling at a price of $299 which will be compatible right away to the upcoming Hero 5 Black according to The Verge. Originally, the GoPro Karma Grip was bundled with the GoPro Karma drone before it was pulled out of the market. The GoPro Karma Grip has similarities for the 3-axis gimbals.
However, users with Hero 4 Black and Silver will have pay and extra $29 for a harness that would be used to connect the device to the GoPro's Karma Grip. The GoPro Hero 5 Session will have to wait a little more time until the harness to be available for the camera as it's set to be released in Q2 of 2017.
The GoPro Karma Grip is a direct competition with the DJI Osmo, which offers sufficient controls for the consumers while when the Karma Grip is used with Hero 5. The GoPro Karma can produce the highest video quality that was reported by Tech Crunch. The GoPro Karma Grip is an 8- inch handle which has a stabilizer combo that connects directly to the device's Micro-HDMI and the USB-C ports according to the Drive.
The GoPro Karma Grip has a simple and effortless control system where the "buttons for power, cycling through shooting modes, recording star/stop, highlight tags and tilt- lock" are available. The GoPro accessories' battery life is reported to last over one hour and 45 minutes and is 17 ounces in weight.
