Google Pixel Latest News & Update: Pixel Beats Apple’s Iphone 7 In Various Features

Google's latest foray into the smartphone business with its Pixel phone has some tech companies gearing up for a potentially strong market contender. Recently, a comparative report has identified Google's Pixel as a better smartphone option as compared to Apple's iPhone 7.

Some smartphone users may have stuck to a specific brand given the features and various innovations that a company has introduced over the years. However, given the entry of the Google Pixel in the market, some smartphone users may have found the said unit as slightly better than Apple's iPhone 7.

A comparative report posted on 1reddrop identified the Pixel as the clear winner between Google and Apple's smartphone devices. With the Pixel's AMOLED screen that offers stunning images and sharp resolution, Apple's LCD screen for its iPhone 7 was no match for Google's mobile phone device.

Both smartphones may have utilized fast processors for its smartphones, however, the Pixel was slightly faster than the iPhone 7, according to the same report. Despite Apple's use of the A10 Fusion on its mobile phone unit, the Pixel's Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with the Android Nougat 7.0 made it slightly better than Apple's iPhone 7. Moreover, the Android Nougat 7.0 also offers smartphone users the chance to control a unit's animation and better manage notifications.

Apart from the AMOLED screen and Android operating system, Google also offers an unlimited video and photo cloud storage for Pixel users. Compared to Apple, the iPhone 7 has limited storage for the said audio and video files.

Meanwhile, some smartphone users may argue that the Apple iPhone 7 may be the best mobile phone for them. Other users may also point out that given the Pixel's visually stunning AMOLED screen and other features, it may be a more attractive smartphone for other tech lovers.

In other news, Google's Pixel smartphones are expected to sell 2.5 million units in 2017 and a revenue of $1.8 billion, according to Nomura's forecast, as cited by Forbes. However, Morgan Stanley's forecast pointed to a potential $3.8 billion revenue with over 5 million units sold.

The Google Pixel was released on Oct. 20. Learn more about the said smartphone in the clip below:
