Based on its recently released trailer, “Teen Mom 2” Season 8 could very well be one of, if not the most dramatic season yet. Fans of the series are given a glimpse of what is going on with the lives of Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry.
Evans is the first to appear in the “Teen Mom 2” Season 8 video teaser. She is sitting in court saying that all she’s trying to do is be a good person and a good mom. Evans, who is pregnant with her third child, could be in a custody hearing for either her eldest son, Jace, or Kaiser, whom he shares with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith.
Evans can also be seen having her usual fight with her mother, Barbara, in the video for “Teen Mom 2” Season 8. Her mom actually has custody of Jace. Evans can be seen yelling at Barbara saying that she does not want to film with her ever again because Barbara doesn’t want to give Jace back. Her mother counters that if she keeps custody, Jenelle will definitely have limited visitation.
Kailyn Lowry also has a crisis of her own. "Teen Mom 2" Season 8 was filmed during her split with her second husband, Javi Marroquin. It seems Lowry cheated on her and Lowry was seen asking him in the video if he ever thought of anyone else like her and their two boys.
While things are not going great for Evans and Lowry on “Teen Moms 2” Season 8, the opposite can be said for Messer after her two divorces and a rehab stint. According to her, she just wants her three girls to have a better life than she had. Addy, her youngest daughter, teases her mom that she should get a boyfriend.
Another happy note for the show is Houska being pregnant with her second child. She tells her daughter that she’s going to be a big sister in the trailer. “Teen Mom” 2 Season 8 premieres on January 2, Monday, on MTV.
