Production for "House of Cards" season 5 is well underway. A major character in the series has been spotted recently at a Starbucks branch in Shaw, D.C., further confirming that filming is still going on.
Michael Kelly has been spotted in the said Starbucks branch ordering a "venti chestnut praline latte." A photo of the star sighting has also been uploaded online. The "House of Cards" season 5 star reportedly took some time to have a brief chat with some fans before leaving the area.
Filming for "House of Cards" season 5 is getting Baltimore even busier than usual. Several D.C. residents have also been tapped to join the show as extras. It has yet to be revealed when filming will wrap up but the recent sighting has given fans the assurance that things are going well with production.
Meanwhile, there are recent reports suggesting that the plot for "House of Cards" season 5 will see Claire (Robin Wright) pushing through with her plans to assassinate Frank (Kevin Spacey). The couple have been falling apart since the finale of season 3 and it may only be a matter of time before Claire pulls off the ultimate betrayal on her husband.
"House of Cards" season 5 spoilers reveal that things will go rough for Frank when the show returns next year. Aside from his deteriorating health, he may also lose the race against an alleged Hillary Clinton-inspired character.
