'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Spoilers, Latest News & Update: Jeffrey Dean Morgan Talks Carl and Negan; 'Supernatural' Star Teases 'Creepy' Mid-Season Finale

"The Walking Dead" season 7 will continue with its creepy and thrilling moments, according to Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The actor has just shared bits about his experience in episode 7 and he also teased on what is to be expected of episode 8.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan has become one of the most hated and yet loved villains in television. His villainy in "The Walking Dead" season 7, particularly what he did to Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Yeun) was a phenomenon and probably the most unforgettable killings in the series.

In "The Walking Dead" season 7, episode 7 titled "Sing Me a Song," Negan asked Carl (Chandler Riggs) to sing a song and even forced him to remove his eye patch. It appears that Negan will continue to foster this kind of relationship that he has already started with Carl.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly after episode 7 aired, Jeffrey Dean Morgan revealed that Chandler Riggs was an impressive actor. "I think it's the finest work he's done on the show, period," Morgan said of Riggs' performance in the previous episode of "The Walking Dead" season 7.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan went on to reveal that Negan sees something special in Carl. He believes that his character sees a little bit of himself whenever he looks at Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) son. The actor added that Negan has a lot of respect for Carl, who had to grow up in the kind of world that they are all trying to survive in. The respect Negan has for Carl is expected to either grow or be broken in "The Walking Dead" season 7.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey Dean Morgan also teased that "The Walking Dead" season 7 episode 8 will be a creepy experience for viewers. "It's creepy, man. It's creepy. We'll see where that goes. Mid-season finale, you know it's going to be big," he hinted.

The actor's remarks have led some fans to speculate that "The Walking Dead" season 7 episode 8 will mark the death of another character. Though Jeffrey Dean Morgan did not mention any character deaths, some fans believe that he was hinting on an unexpected core character killing in the mid-season finale.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 episode 8 titled "Hearts Still Beating" will air December 11 on AMC. Stay tuned for more spoilers and news.
