"Yakuza 6: The Song of Life" is set to be revealed in Japan this December and the game's fans in the West are also in for a treat as it will also have a western release. Aside from the said action-adventure video game, Sega also recently announced at the PSX 2016 the coming of "Yakuza Kiwami" in the west.
"Yakuza Kiwami" was the remake of the original "Yakuza" game of 2005 that was first released for PlayStation 2. The new title carries a whole new look that has new and improved developments, VG247 reported.
One of the many developments of "Yakuza Kiwami" will feature is the new content that will show nearly 30 minutes of cut scenes, called "Family Patriarch's Ransom." It will give a glimpse of the all-new storyline and build connection with the game's sequel, "Yakuza 0."
"Yakuza Kiwami" is also the perfect game for the new "Yakuza" series gamers and the longtime fans. It carries the title's original touch of the franchise with added modernity. However, the new addition in the game is the "Majima Everywhere" system.
It is "Yakuza Kiwami" madden and one-eyed maniac that will continuously surprise and face Kiryu to fight when he least expects it. Lastly, the overhauled game is now HD ready and optimized for the PlayStation 4 that is running in 1080p/60fps. Also it has exclusive Japanese audio that has been recorded by its whole cast.
Meanwhile, "Yakuza 6: The Song of Life" is coming in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 users, Siliconera added. The game is powered by Dragon Engine and the first hour of its gameplay for PlayStation 4 Pro is now revealed.
Sega's video demo of "Yakuza 6: The Song of Life" shows the evolution of Kamurocho, the new city of Onomichi Jingaicho and other additional activities. "Yakuza 6: The Song of Life" will be revealed in Japan on Dec. 18 and in the West in early 2018 while "Yakuza Kiwami" will be unveiled in the summer of 2017 for PlayStation 4.
