Following the finale episode, "Westworld" Season 1 Dolores has already achieved consciousness and was able to find the center of the maze, in which according to TV Line, "was a test for the hosts who were becoming self-aware". Dolores finding the maze has passed the trial, and Arnold has used Dolores to stage his plans for Westworld.
Back in the days when Arnold was still alive, he believed that the hosts can attain the consciousness, and have the freedom to think for themselves. Reports have claimed that with Dolores' new discovery about her self-awareness, "Westworld" Season 2 will feature the hosts as having authority over the humans.
Rumors are rife that the second season of "Westworld" will unite the hosts to build a different world, one that would enslave humans. To recall the finale of "Westworld" Season 1, Dolores shot every human on her path, putting fear on humans.
