"Scream Queens" Season 2 Cancellation News & Latest Updates: Taylor Lautner & Billie Lourd Busted Making Out by Keke Palmer; Will the Improved Ratings Merit Season 3?

Things are shaping up for "Scream Queens" Season 2 beginning with the news that the FOX series with its episode titled “The Hand” made a recovery in the ratings from the ratings dip in its previous episode. Then, there is the matter of Billie Lourd and Taylor Lautner getting on very well on and off the set.

According to reports, one of “Scream Queens” Season 2 cast Keke Keke Palmer, who plays Zayday Williams in the series, caught Billie and Taylor’s blooming romance spilled off the set and into real life. Palmer captured the couple while on a night out on her Snapchat account. Reports say that the they were making out in a LA club. The actors, who play Chanel Number 3 and Dr. Cassidy Cascade in the series, caught their co-actor off-guard in seeing them together.

Lourd and Lautner’s characters revealed their love for each other in the most recent episode of "Scream Queens" Season 2. It was this surging love they shared that spurred Dr. Cascade to offer to do an impromptu hand surgery to Dr. Brock Holt (John Stamos) in order to get rid of his hand transplant which formerly belonged to a serial killer. Dr. Holt seemed to be resigned to his fate of repeatedly ending up with murderous hand transplants. But, the latest one only put Chanel Oberlin’s (Emma Roberts) life in more danger than ever.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the “Scream Queens” Season 2 finale titled “Drain the Swamp” is scheduled to air on December 20. Fans of the show are wondering if the current season’s showing would merit a third season given the darker treatment it was given. Whether the Chanels will be able to survive the ratings game to come back for a third run remains to be seen.

It was also announced by FOX that the episode airing on December 13 titled “Lovin the D” will have Brooke Shields as guest star. She will be playing the role of Dr. Scarlett Lovin in the penultimate episode of “Scream Queens” Season 2.
