This generation is the era of technology, laptops, console, computers and smartphones. Despite of the astounding popularity of Apple's iPhones and Samsung, Google confidently released their "Google Pixel Phones" hoping to take on the two top smartphone manufacturer.

Google Pixel phones were released last October 20, 2016. Brand recognition is one of the keys for successful marketing, but it will surely take time. Google is undeniably a famous company, but not in the smartphone manufacturing industry.

Although Google is from a different industry, consumers are still very confident in their new products. Let's say you will buy one of the Google Pixel phones, so, which Pixel is a better option?

Both Google Pixel phones, Pixel and Pixel XL, design have a resemblance to iPhone. But focusing on the Pixel's, the two share identical chassis design and the only physical difference between the two is the size. The Pixel is 5-inch with 143g weight, while Pixel XL has 5.5-inch and 168g.

Despite the impressive build quality and displays, the two good reasons you should consider the Google Pixel phones are their camera and performance. They are both have Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset, Quad-core CPU, Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM.

The Google Pixel phones are the first phones on the market to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 chipset. According to Forbes, the real star of the show is Android 7.1 which debuts first on these handsets.

Both Google Pixel phones have the same camera quality. Rear camera has 12 MP, phase detection & laser autofocus, dual-LED, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama. Front camera is almost the same, but with smaller 8 MP.

Google Pixel phones have superb non-removable battery life with USB Type-C connector. Li-Ion 2770 mAh battery for Pixel and Pixel XL has a larger Li-Ion 3450 mAh. The Pixel charges slightly faster than the larger Pixel XL. Around 1hour and 10 minutes' vs 1hour and 30 minutes, but in approximately 15 minutes, both will deliver a 0-30% charge.

And now, let's talk about the price. Androidcentral cited, Google Pixel phones are priced like the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Pixel price is $649 for 32GB and $749 for 128GB. Pixel XL is $769 for 32GB and $869 for 128GB. Side-by-side there is no difference between the Google Pixel phones, they are stunningly quick and worthy for different uses.
