‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Updates; Restriction Found On Eevee Evolution Trick; Gen 2 To Introduce More New Pokemon?

"Pokemon GO" players are thrilled with the game's latest update, which brought interesting tricks and features. One of the most popular addition is the Eevee evolution trick. Unfortunately, not so long after its release, some Poke trainers already complained about the feature's unannounced restrictions.

Originally, Eevee's evolution in "Pokemon GO" was solely based on chance. Eevee could evolve into any of three powerful forms Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon. However, "Pokemon GO" players discovered a trick that allowed them to manipulate Eevee's evolution. According to Game Faqs, despite the pre-set random evolution setting, naming Eevee as Sparky, Pyro or Rainer will cause the pokemon to evolve into Jolteon, Flareon, or Vaporeon respectively.

Unfortunately, "Pokemon GO" players recently discovered that the Eevee evolution trick can only be used for a maximum of three times. That is one Eevee evolution trick for each of the three forms of Eevee. After three successful attempts, the trick will no longer work, Slash Gear reported.

"Pokemon GO" players should remember that they must have a friendship level, or CP level, of 220 or more to evolve Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon. An Espeon or Umbreon evolution is also affected by the time of day. Eevee should be evolved into Espeon at daytime, from 4:00AM to 6:00 PM while Umbreon's evolution should occur in the nighttime between 6:00PM and 4:00AM.

On a more exciting note, "Pokemon Go" Generation 2 is set to introduce more evolved forms apart from Eevee's Espeon and Umbreon. Sources list the following Pokemon and their possible evolutions in the upcoming update: Golbat (Crobat), Gloom (Bellossom), Poliwhirl (Politoed), Porygon (Porygon2) and Onix (Steelix).

Gen 2 update reportedly include, Chansey (Blissey), Seadra (Kingdra), Slowpoke (Slowking) and Scyther (Scizor). Sources also reveal that "Pokemon Go" will further release at least a hundred new Pokemon and incorporate 86 more moves.
