iOS 10 Jailbreak Release Date, Latest News & Update: Apple’s Solid Security Thwarting Pangu’s Challenge

The wait continues for an iOS 10 jailbreak with Pangu waiting for Apple to make the first move. That comes in the form of the much-awaited iOS 10.2 which may be nearing its final version release.

The chess match between Apple and Pangu is obvious with the latter likely looking at longevity once it does release its iOS 10 jailbreak. The Cupertino company has been aggressive when it comes to releasing updates, proof of which has happened lately.

For Apple, iOS 10 is already in the seventh beta stage which could hint at a final version release, 9 to 5 Mac reported. Among the features for the next iOS version include new 9.0 Emoji, new wallpapers or the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, a TV app plus camera features and message screen effects

No security improvements were mentioned for iOS 10.2 though most understand that such is implied. iOS 10 has been plagued with compatibility and security issues and hopefully all these will be covered once the latest mobile operating system comes out in the open.

Curiously, Pangu and other hacking groups have failed to take advantage of the security loopholes and come out with an iOS 10 jailbreak. Third-party groups have discovered security flaws which hackers would have taken advantage of for their iOS jailbreaking efforts.

With that absent, Apple has been looking good and true to their word. The company has bragged about iOS 10 being un-jailbreakable and that has so far stood out. However, all that could change this December if Pangu holds up its promise of releasing an iOS 10 jailbreak as scheduled.

The last working iOS jailbreak was for iOS 9.3.4 earlier this year, Forbes reported. Despite showing off an iOS 10 jailbreak at MOSET 2016, Pangu has failed to step in show off a highly covered iOS 10 crack.

There is a chance that no iOS 10 jailbreak comes out this month, one that could douse any hope for the Apple Jailbreaking Community. If so, there may be no credible iOS 10 jailbreaks, meaning Apple may have finally come up with a fail-safe operating system against jailbreakers.
