"Fifty Shades Darker" just got a whole lot steamier with the release of Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik's new single for the film. The song, titled "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," debuted on airwaves on Thursday.

The former One Direction member Zayn Malik posted on social media a cute, black and white photo of himself with Taylor Swift and her cat. The snap used the hashtag "#idontwannaliveforever."

The "Blank Space" singer, Taylor Swift, teased the duet, titled "I Don't Want To Live Forever" featuring Zayn Malik, on her Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts on Thursday. The song was used as music to accompany sexy clips of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dorman) in "Fifty Shades Darker."

Taylor Swift's new single with Zayn Malik is the first one she's released since her latest album, "1989," came out in October 2014. She co-wrote the song with Jack Antonnof of Fun. and Sam Dew.

Antonnof said via Twitter that it only took a week for Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift to come up with their musical offering for "Fifty Shades Darker," the fastest he's ever done. Antonnof added that Swift personally recorded her part at his house while Zayn sent his from Los Angeles.

The collab might have come as a surprise to many because of the Twitter feud that broke out between Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift's then-boyfriend Calvin Harris in 2015. Zayn slammed Swift for her refusal to stream music for free when Harris quickly came to her defense and said that she was standing up for all members of the industry.

Fans from both artists' camps have been ecstatic over the single. Since its release, Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift's collaboration for "Fifty Shades Darker" has claimed the number one spot on iTunes. The song deals with a tough break-up, perhaps pertaining to Anastasia and Christian's rocky relationship in the film.

"Fifty Shades Darker," directed by James Foley, is the second film in the "Fifty Shades" movie trilogy. The novels were penned by E.L. James. Catch the flick when it hits theaters on Valentine's Day 2017. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik news and updates!
