The "War for the Planet of the Apes" trailer was recently released and with it, a number of questions and speculations have surfaced. Being quite straightforward with the message, there is still a lot of mysteries behind the film thus far.

As some may know, "War for the Planet of the Apes" is the third entry in the series that ran for a few sequential years. As the series progresses, the direction seems to swerve slightly towards the explanation on as to why the classic film became such an icon.

Recent synopsis says that "War for the Planet of the Apes" will once again pit the highly intelligent Caesar (Andy Serkis) against mankind. This time, the instigation of man's actions will be led by a remorseless Colonel (Woody Harrelson), which seemingly shows to draw bloodshed. Interestingly, none about the trailer shows traces of the predecessors, which could mean that the plot will take place years after once again.

As the narrative states, the "War for the Planet of the Apes" could be the defining bit in which man could reclaim their world, or if the supposed simpler-but not inferior links to evolution be the one to take over. Many battle scenes were witnessed in the said clip, showing how the primal entities have already acquired firearms along the way and could then defend their territories accordingly.

Speculations on "War for the Planet of the Apes" could mean that man chose to be defend their planet instead of making peace with the apes. As a sense of spoiler, the ending of its predecessor "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" showed Caesar letting his mankind ally escape after revealing the conflict induced by the betrayal of Koba. Knowing that war is already upon them, Caesar chose to embrace the hate in the third film, showing his animalistic side to reign supreme.

"War for the Planet of the Apes" is slated for release on July 14, 2017 for the United States. What do you think of the latest trailer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and stay locked here at GamenGuide.
