Good news to "Pokemon Go" avid players. The creator of the game, Niantic Labs, has been rolling out the latest update, for Android 0.49.1 and 1.19.1 for iOs. Players can now transfer multiple Pokemon to Dr. Willow for candies.
In "Pokemon Go," trainers need candies to power up and evolve their Pokemon. The latest update brings new features to the table. One is that players of the monster hunting game can now trade candies in bulk to Dr. Willow in one transaction. Prior to the update, the game allows only one candy for each transaction. Also, players can now transfer multiple species of Pokemon in one trade as well. This certainly is useful for "Pokemon Go" trainers.
How to transfer multiple Pokemon in one transaction?
In transferring your monster in "Pokemon Go," just press and hold a Pokemon and it will be highlighted to indicate it has been selected. When the player has already selected all the Pokemon to be transferred (can select multiple kinds of Pokemon), just tap the Transfer button at the bottom of the screen. On the left portion of the screen, it will show the candies that you received from the transaction.
In managing your Pokemon inventory in "Pokemon Go," the IVs or Individual Value of each Pokemon needs to be checked before transferring them to Dr. Willow for candies. You can either use an IV calculator app or just by using the game's appraisal system. Why is this need? Because it is a way for "Pokemon Go" trainers to know if their Pokemon is capable or has the potential to be a great Pokemon. In this way, players can build a great lineup of Pokemon for battle.
New Features
When approaching a gym in "Pokemon Go", Pokemon type icons has been added as well as in the Gym Battle screen. For your Buddy Pokemon, the total candy count and kilometers walked have been added into the buddy information screen. Some minor text changes have also been made.
