‘Better Call Saul' Season 3 Release Date, News & Update: Show Returns With ‘Breaking Bad’ Actor Bryan Cranston As New Director?

After the release of the official confirmation that "Better Call Saul" Season 3 will return to television in 2017, excited fans have been wanting to know more. Reports claim that the cast and crew are not pursuing intense shooting in New Mexico to beat deadlines. Interesting reports claim that the upcoming series will return with a new director.

Game N Guide initially featured an article on the possibility of a Cameo appearance of Bryan Cranston to reprise his iconic Walter White role in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. Reports claim that the "Breaking Bad" actor who was already featured in the many character cross-over episodes of the previous seasons has been spotted with the show's production crew.

Fans are thrilled as one of the show's creator Vince Gilligan confirms that actor Bryan Cranston will definitely make a comeback in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. However, Cranston's role will be positioned behind the cameras as the actor is expected to direct one of the episodes of season 3. But one problem is still blocking the way.

Bryan Cranston's tight schedule makes it difficult for the production crew of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 to push through initial plans of letting Cranston direct an episode. Gilligan reassures fans that they definitely want Cranston to direct, especially after James Brown passed on. Everything is now a matter of fitting things into schedule.

Meanwhile, new images captured from the set of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 reveals that the characters of Chuck McGill, Jimmy McGill and Kim Wexler will be featured in the upcoming episodes.

According to Den of Geek, "Better Call Saul" Season 3" co-creators Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan released statements about what fans can expect in the highly anticipated season return. Gould says two words: The Reckoning. Gilligan says his words were not as cool as Gould's, if fact he only had one word to add: Satisfying.

To date, there has been no official confirmation as to the "Better Call Saul" Season 3 release schedule but fans can expect to watch all new episodes around February 2017.
