"The Walking Dead" Season 7 is now on its quick hiatus after the midseason finale was revealed on Sunday. With a lot of major twists and turns, the show's post-credit scene leaves every fan puzzled when someone's watching Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the group.
In "The Walking Dead" Season 7 midseason finale titled "Hearts Still Beating," Rick and Aaron (Ross Marquand) were seen moving down upon the fortress while being surrounded by walkers in an effort to find Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Later, a mysterious print of a pair of shoes was seen. But, whose imprints were these?
In "The Walking Dead" Season 7's post-credit sequence, the same unseen figure was spotted following Rick and Aaron back to Alexandria. This strange character has been watching Rick and his group through binoculars and all fans can see was the imprint of this person's boots.
With that, viewers of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 are eager to know who this mysterious guy is. Could this be Dwight (Austin Amelio)? Cyndie (Sydney Park) from Oceanside? or an all-new character? According to The Independent, the observer might be a Whisperer, a new clan that will go head-to-head with Rick and company.
Dwight is one of Negan's loyal assistants, but he was not seen in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 midseason finale. However, there might be a chance that he will betray his master.
Cyndie, on the other hand, can be recalled set Tara (Alanna Masterson) free in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 episode six "Swear." If the prints were her's, she might only want to see if Rick and his group were planning something against them.
"All I can say is that those boots, you'll definitely recognize those from earlier - they're connected to that boat scene," Chris Hardwick of "The Talking Dead" said. "And you know, that's a big part of what we're dealing with when we come back next half of the season, so we'll be revealing that soon. It's going to be a great half season."
