Napoli vs. Torino Preview
Dries Mertens scored a hat-trick in Napoli's big 5-0 win against Cagliari last Sunday. Marek Hamsik and Piotr Zielinski scored one each as The Blues earn three points to make their tally for the season at 31 which is good for fourth place in the Serie A table.
Napoli is on a five-game unbeaten streak that started after the 2-1 loss to Juventus. They drew twice during that stretch against Lazio and Sassuolo while defeating clubs like Udinese, Inter Milan and Cagliari. The Blues have scored eight goals in their last two games.
On the other hand, Torino is coming off a disappointing 3-1 loss in the Derby della Mole versus Juventus. Andrea Bellotti's 16th-minute strike was not enough as the reigning champs tied the game in the 28th minute courtesy of Gonzalo Higuain.
It was a 1-1 draw until the 82nd minute when Higuain scored another one before Miralem Pjanic iced the game in the 92nd minute. Torino currently sits eighth in the Serie A table with only 25 points after 16 games.
