'Final Fantasy 15' Tips, Tricks & Cheats: This Is How To Recruit Aranea To Your Party!

If you like playing "Final Fantasy 15" but don't exactly like the fact that you're stuck with the boyband, AKA Noctis and Friends, as your main party, you'll be glad to know that there's a way around it. There's a glitch in the game that, if exploited properly, allows you to keep Aranea Highwind, one of the highly-powered guest characters that rolls with your party at some point in the game.

GameRant comes in with a guide, tried and tested by the "Final Fantasy 15" Reddit community, no less, to exploit the glitch and get Aranea in your party. They warn, however, that once you pull this off, the glitch pretty much sticks Aranea with your team until the end of the game. Other than that, you won't be able to fish with her around, so if you're completing sidequests and minigames, you may need to reconsider trying this trick out.

Here's what you need to do in "Final Fantasy 15." After Chapter 7, go to Cotisse Haven, rest, and then go into the Raindrops Hunt in order to make the game fast-forward to night time. After that, you'll need to teleport back to your previous rest area in Cotisse Haven; wait until midnight, when the clock strikes exactly 12 run toward the wall with a red fence. Engage a battle with the daemons that appear, escape it, and then teleport to the previous rest area again. Interact with the camp immediately without pressing the camp button, and Aranea will come down from her ship, and the moment she starts talking, hit camp.

After the camp, reload your last camping autosave, at which point Aranea will be in your party. What does her presence entail? For one thing, she'll be a big boon to your party, serving as an unkillable (for real) healer for Noctis. Again, the only way to remove her from your party is to finish the main story of "Final Fantasy 15." If you want to cheat the game a little, you can give it a try.
