Apple users may just get lucky as recent reports suggest that an iOS 10 jailbreak tool is still possible. A week ago, reports have emerged saying that iOS 10 jailbreak is far from happening due to the difficulties of hacking through Apple's newest operating system. Popular hackers like Pangu have been quiet too, stirring up all the more the rumors that it's not going to come.

But it seems like that's all changed now with famous Italian hacker Luca Todesco appearing in the scenes again to announce a good news to the fans regarding the iOS 10 jailbreak tool. According to reports, Todesco posted on his Twitter account indicating that there's a high chance in getting the tool. What he will do is "take up whatever project 0 drops and write a full jailbreak on top of it."

To those who are not in the loop yet, Todesco is referring to the Google Project Zero report that discovered that there is a possible root exploit on iOS 10. As detailed in WCCFTech, the exploit was released for iOS 10.1.1 in the Project Zero form. But in order to come up with an iOS 10 jailbreak tool out from it, a developer must work on it as it requires technical expertise in the field. Ordinary iOS users will have to be cautious about it if they are planning to make use of the exploit.

Fortunately, Todesco came across the exploit and now he has confirmed that the iOS 10 jailbreak tool is possible. But he has an important note for all interested users. They must stick with the iOS 10.1.1 if they want to get hold of the jailbreak tool once it is released. The version 10.2 is a tough puzzle to crack but the iOS 10.1.1 is more jailbreak-ready so Todesco is planning to work on that to come up with the jailbreak tool.

Apple users who already upgraded to iOS 10.2 can still revert to 10.1 so that they can get the iOS 10 jailbreak tool. They will have to hurry up though as the chance to downgrade is for a limited time. Things will be permanent then.
