Camila Cabello allegedly left Fifth Harmony to start her solo career and Taylor Swift will be a part of her new journey. Is it true that she is Swift's protege?
A report from Capital FM unveiled that Taylor Swift had been trying to recruit Camila Cabello, which is why she left Fifth Harmony. Dinah Jane's aunt has apparently tweeted in the past that Swift had been trying to get Cabello out of the band, which will eventually tear the group apart.
The tweet had been deleted right away by the aunt of Dinah Jane. Her aunt even said that she thinks Swift is a snake for doing such to the 5H.
Fans are now wondering if it is true that Swift had something to do with Cabello's decision to leave the group. Especially, when the statement from the Fifth Harmony's account shared that Cabello's representatives were the ones who informed them about her decision to quit.
"After four and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well," the group stated last Sunday.
The group also announced that they will be pursuing their career even if they are just four now. "We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony, as well as our solo endeavors," the statement continued.
Meanwhile, Rolling Stone stated that Cabello seemed to be upset by the 5H's post saying she was shocked that they posted the message without her knowing. She even stated that the four other girls always knew about how she felt, while they worked together as a group.
"I did not intend to end things with Fifth Harmony this way," she wrote on her Instagram account.
Camila Cabello also insisted that it is not true that the Fifth Harmony girls were informed about her decision through her representatives. Taylor Swift is also yet to respond to the rumors that connects her to the decision of Cabello to leave.
