'Overwatch' Upcoming Custom Game Modes To Bring More Fun When Patch Arrives

"Overwatch" fans will soon experience a crazier game once they have downloaded the latest patch.  The upcoming update will allow players to set their own custom games and share them with their friends. But for the meantime, Windows PC players are the only one allowed on its PTR (Public Test Region).

Windows PC Players Can Participate In Testing Phase Of Upcoming "Overwatch" Patch

Game developer Blizzard will soon add a Server Browser to its highly acclaimed multiplayer shooter game that allows fans to control every aspect of a multiplayer game.  Players can adjust the movement speed, team size, an option to take away cool down feature, limit heroes that can participate and several more.  Fans will have a wide selection of customized game on the battlefield, which can also be shared with friends and teammates, Kotaku reports.

Several of the rounded up "Overwatch" custom game include a Team Predator Mode, which only allows the character named Sombra with 2.75 HP gain, 2.22 movement speed, 2.0 projectile speed, 0.15 stealth, 2.0 translocator and 2.5 EMP power only.  Then there is also the Juggernaut Mode - six enhanced Mercys against one Roadhog, the reported added.

Additionally, there is also the highly intense Zombie Mode, which will let three Soldier 76s go up against six Reinhardts.  This mode contains no cool down, which means that players will definitely have a challenging round every time. Several new maps are said to be included in the latest patch for the first-person shooter game, which includes, Hide and Seek, Mercy The Necromancer, Lucio Melee Surf Wars, sneaking Mission and Hide the Turrents.

"Overwatch" New Game Modes Expected To Bring Additional Fun To Game

Meanwhile, "Overwatch" fans were surprised to learn from Geoff Goodman, the game's principal designer, that Sombra was originally equipped to hack into a Torbjorn game character of the opposite team. She can then control the opponent's turrets to fire to its teammate.  Goodman mentioned in the game's forum thread that they got frustrated during the testing phase when Torb's players would switch to a different game character once they notice that Sombra is on the opposite team.  Torb's teammates would also get upset if they were pulverized by his weapon, due to Sombra's hacking abilities, PVP Live mentioned.

Currently, the latest patch can only be accessed by Windows PC users, although console gamers are expected to experience the new game modes in the near future. "Overwatch" was launched last summer for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
