'Final Fantasy XV' DLC Features Ragnarok Sword For Warp-Strike Attack; Season Pass Owners Get DLC For Free

"Final Fantasy XV" developers recently released the new "Booster Pack+" DLC on the North American PlayStation Store for PS4 gamers. The DLC was previously launched in Europe for PS4 and Xbox One users. It should be noted that the "Final Fantasy XV Booster Pack+" comes with a new weapon and fishing gear.

Easier Fishing Post DLC Release

The "Final Fantasy XV" DLC packs several items for Noctis to use including the Ragnarok sword, which gives off a powerful warp-strike attack. The "Final Fantasy XV" developers also made fishing easier with the Dragon Drain fishing rod that may suppress fish movement and the Avior reel that pulls fish with greater strength.

Note that "Final Fantasy XV" season pass owners may grab the latest DLC for free. The package is smaller than usual but was meant to be a bonus to the "Booster Pack" DLC that launch the Magitek Exosuits.

Apparently, the people behind the "Power Rangers" movie noted that the Magitek Exosuits were too similar, DualShockers reported. Apparently, the studio was criticized for copying the Japanese Super Sentai heroes. Hence, the "Final Fantasy' XV" developers were forced to redesign the suits which delayed the most relevant part of the DLC pack. The "Final Fantasy XV" developers have yet revealed word on the release of the redesigned suits.

Gladiolus Stars In Own Episode For The First Time

Meanwhile, the "Final Fantasy XV" developers are set on launching the first major add-on to the game. It has been revealed that "Episode Gladiolus" would cost $4.99 to those without a season pass, Destructoid reported. The DLC is slated to fill in what happened to Gladio after leaving the group.

"Final Fantasy XV" website further notes that Gladio will become a playable character for the first time. The DLC will also feature a different type of gameplay as well as a never-before-seen story. In addition, two other episodes will also be sold separately--"Episode Ignis" and "Episode Prompto." The "Comrades" multiplayer expansion is also said to be in the works.
