Nintendo Announces New Partnerships & Reveals New Indie Games Coming For Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has just announced new indie games and partnerships to look forward to for Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch system is scheduled to launch on March 3 and will feature new games every now and then. The company is already working closely with different developers and publishers to make sure a steady flow of games will come in Nintendo eShop.

In an announcement released by Nintendo, the company already have 60 games confirmed to come this year. Most of the new games will make use of Nintendo Switch’ unique feature, particularly the multiple play modes that includes tabletop mode, TV mode and handheld mode, online multiplayer mode and the JoyCon functionality which is not featured in any other console.

The company also revealed a Nindies Showcase that teases fans with some of the best games Nintendo will feature on their eShop. Nintendo Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations, Steve Singer, said: “We’re working with both mainstream and independent developers to make Nintendo Switch the destination for entertaining games and experiences.”

One of the games coming on Nintendo Switch is “Runner3” where players can continue the adventures of CommanderVideo. In this game, players will go through quests, new challenges, more character moves, dance moves, and exciting new characters. This game is scheduled to release this coming fall.

Another exciting game coming in Nintendo eShop is Yooka Laylee by Platonic Games and Team 17. In this game, players get to explore a big and beautiful world in the eyes of Yooka and Laylee. The game features a multiplayer mode which is ideal for Nintendo Switch.

And in a report by Gamerant, “Blaster Master Zero” is another game to look forward of. The game is similar to the hit game “Blaster Master” including the landscape, vehicle combats, exciting adventure, and a better gameplay system that takes advantage of Nintendo Switch’ unique multiplayer mode. The game also promises new characters later in the game. Aside from Nintendo Switch, the game will also arrive in Nintendo 3DS family systems this March.
