"Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment", a two-player co-op game developed by Yacht Club Games is being scheduled for release in April of 2017. The good news is that the newest game of the series is announced to be launched first on Nintendo Switch. This game has undergone a restructuring that will showcase DLC as a dole out for the game.

In a report by Gamerant, Yacht Club reveals that "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment's" line up of the series on Nintendo Switch will be unveiled to the new console. In addition, Nintendo Switch will serve as the host to the game expansion, most especially the Specter Of Torment. It is worth noting that 2017 is seen as the big year for the game as game players explore the games in the Switch platform.

The announcement to release "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment" on Nintendo Switch is a good offer to the fans who are waiting for its release. Although the game will split into standalone games, still those who have the base can avail of the expansion for free as revealed by PCGamer. This is a bonus that comes with the local co-op game play and the local "battle mode".

Moreover, Yacht Club has big plans for the games this year as it is working on the improvement of the contents of "Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment".The content update is designed for both the paid and free versions of the game.

One major improvement is that once the game is made exclusive for Nintendo Switch amiibo-compatible platforms, this will open up for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One free update. For those who are a fan of the game, stay tuned to Gamenguide.
